Frequently Asked Questions

Do I have to visit your office every six months?

We recommend bi-annual dental checkups to ensure patients receive the care they need to prevent common oral health concerns. This also ensures we’re familiar with patients’ smiles, and we’ll be able to make a diagnosis as soon as there are changes to patients’ smiles.

Can dental implants be used to support a denture?

Dental implants are extremely versatile. When properly positioned, we can use them to support any number of replacement teeth, from a single dental crown to a full denture. For many patients with dentures, we may be able to refit their current dentures to be attached to implants for increased stability. Whatever your situation, we’ll work with you to ensure you receive the best tooth replacement solution available.

Does teeth whitening work?

It can! Store-bought tooth whitening solutions often fail to deliver on their promises. However, our professional teeth whitening options provide effective, predictable results up to ten shades brighter.

What is periodontal therapy?

Periodontal (gum) disease affects millions of US adults each year. While the early stages of the disease produce only a few, mild symptoms that can typically be treated with more frequent cleanings, advanced gum disease requires more involved care. We offer a wide range of periodontal therapies in our office including scaling and root planning.

Can I call you if I have a dental emergency?

We welcome patients to reach out whenever they need us. We do our best to provide same day urgent care appointments for those patients experiencing dental emergencies.

What’s the wand?

Sounds pretty magical, doesn’t it? The Wand is a unique local anesthetic administration tool that doesn’t look or feel like the traditional needle many patients are scared of. Instead, the injection needle is discretely hidden within a hand-held tool that resembles a wand.

Do you take my insurance?

We are happy to process and file dental insurance claims for most major providers, and we are in-network with Cigna, Delta Dental, Aetna, and Guardian. Our knowledgeable team has the experience necessary to maximize coverage with any dental insurance provider.
