Dental Crowns & Bridges

With a custom-made dental crown and/or bridge, Dr. Shaik can replenish the structure and aesthetics that have been unfairly lost to you, helping you complete your smile and feel secure about its function and appearance once more.

Tooth-Colored Fillings
Instead of having to settle for noticeable metal amalgam fillings, today’s parents can enjoy a much more attractive alternative. Dr. Shaik treats cavities by applying tooth-colored composite resin to the affected area and sculpting it into a lifelike addition that blends right in with the rest of your smile. Additionally, these fillings are conservative (meaning we can preserve more of your original tooth’s healthy shape) and more comfortable (no metal-based sensitivity to temperature) than their traditional counterparts.
Root Canals
The words “root canal” might send a shiver down your spine at first, but this procedure can be extremely helpful when it comes to rescuing a badly infected tooth that’s on the brink of extraction. Dr. Shaik performs this vital service regularly, and he will ensure that you remain comfortable and at ease throughout the experience.

Tooth Extractions
Tooth extraction is never our favorite outcome, but it may be necessary sometimes in order to preserve the patient’s health and well-being, such as in the following situations:
When a tooth is too badly decayed to be properly treated by a dental crown or filling
When a tooth has been traumatically injured and cannot be successfully restored
When a tooth needs to be removed to make way for successful orthodontic treatment
Patients can rest assured that we’ll prioritize their comfort every step of the way during the extraction process. We’ll also be happy to start working with you right away on selecting the right tooth replacement if needed so that you aren’t without your complete smile for long.
Wisdom Tooth Extractions
The third molars (also known as “wisdom teeth”) are the last adult teeth to emerge into your smile – but this late arrival isn’t typically a happy occasion. Today, our mouths simply don’t have enough room to accommodate these teeth in most cases, and as a result, they can become impacted (trapped within the bone) or dangerously overcrowded. If we determine during a regular checkup that these teeth pose a threat to overall oral health, Dr. Shaik can bring a specialist into the office to conveniently and comfortably remove them.
Dental Sedation Options
We understand that despite all of our best efforts, most patients don’t particularly look forward to dental care. In fact, a dental-related phobia is a real problem that affects all ages, resulting in cases where people wait years and years between appointments because of anxiety or fear. If you’re one of them, please let us know. We offer several sedation dentistry options that can take the edge off these negative emotions and help you feel truly relaxed throughout your experience.
